This role requires a combination of injecting molding technical knowledge and expertise, along with leadership characteristics and the ability to coach and train others. The role is instrumental with supporting and developing the Process Technician team through collaboration, daily auditing and communication, and by teaching/coaching. The Process Technician-Level 3 will assist with new product development from initial tool build concept through production launch; including tooling sampling and qualification per the NPI standard
operating procedure. This includes creating process documentation for new and legacy jobs and updating any other supporting documentation as needed. The PT-Level 3 will provide production support by assisting with troubleshooting of processes and equipment, changeovers, startups, and other production related tasks as needed. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and leaders from all other departments. Flexibility with work hours is required in order to support personnel on all 3 shifts.
Responsible for performing various manufacturing processes which includes safely operating machines and use of hand or power tools. Ensuring quality and productivity standards are met as well as providing assistance to production team members as needed. Assist with creating a culture of accountability and customer first attitude.
Standard Work: 1. Follow PCP for part & material information/verification 2. Perform 15 minute checks when applicable 3. Collaborate with Process Technicians regarding product quality and job status 4. Count, package and label product for shipment per customer requirements 5. Trouble shoot production number variances

Responsible for starting up machines, keeping machines running, mold set-up including all secondary inserts and/or equipment; ensure materials and components are available for production operations. Assist with creating a culture of accountability and customer first attitude. Standard work: 1- Start presses, 2 – Respond to machine alarms, 3 – Help with set ups and 4 – Assist with Material Handling duties as needed.
